Have a lot of piercings? Not as many as Elaine Davidson! In a recent article from the UK-based Telegraph, the world’s most pierced woman shows off her record-breaking 6,005 piercings — which includes more than 1,500 “internal” piercings. Davidson is proud of her body art — she says, “I am happy. I decided to change myself and be me.” — but acknowledges that getting so many piercings wasn’t all fun and games:
However, despite her eye-watering record, Miss Davidson, born in Brazil, claims she doesn’t like being pierced, and suffers for her art.
She said: “I don’t enjoy getting pierced, but to break the record you have to get to a high level.”
